The Kaduna State government has imposed a 24 hours quarantine to avoid the spread of the Covid 19 Coronavirus.
The Deputy Governor Dr Hadiza Balarabe today made this known to Newsmen after today’s meeting of state committee of Covid 19.
“KDSG has invoked the Constitution, the quarantine act 1926 and the Public health law 1917 to make Kaduna State a Public health area and Covid 19 a dangerous infectious disease therefore a quarantine has been imposed on Kaduna State effective by midnight” Hadiza said.
DPH NEWS reports that during this period everyone in Kaduna State will remain indoors for 24 hours, all business places will be completely shutdown as well as Mosques and churches until further notice. Kaduna State becomes the first state to impose a total shutdown in the country.
