The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq has reiterated her commitment to lifting 100million Nigerians out of poverty in 10years.
The Minister disclosed this during the third Annual National Home Grown School Feeding Program, Review meeting in Akwa Ibom state.
According to the Minister, the commitment is in line with the vision of President Muhammadu Buhari in alleviating poverty in the country.
She added that the Home Grown School Feeding Programme remains an important component in poverty alleviation.
“I reaffirm my commitment to delivering on the vision of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years and the Home Grown School Feeding Programme remains a key component of the FG’s effort towards alleviating poverty.”
